Depending on where you are and which part of the business you deal with, one or both entities act as the controller (or "data fiduciary" under Indian law) of your personal information.

The short version

- We use it to reply to you, arrange demos, consider job applications and keep the website secure.

- Resumes are sent to our recruiting team by email and are not stored on the website server.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time.
Information we collect
Contact form
When you send us a message we collect your name, email address, company and phone number (both optional), the topic you choose and your message.
Book a demo form
When you request a demo we collect your name, work email address, company, your job title and company size (both optional), the topics or accelerators you are interested in and any details you choose to share about your needs.
Careers applications
When you apply for a role or send a general application we collect your name, email address, phone number, the role you are applying for, your resume and anything else you choose to include, such as your location, years of experience, notice period, a cover letter, or links to your LinkedIn profile or portfolio.
Your application, including the resume file, is forwarded by email to our recruiting team. The website server processes the upload only to send that email and does not keep a copy of your resume once it has been sent.
Chat assistant
The website includes an AI chat assistant that answers questions about SynthLinx. It is provided through a third-party service at ask-api.synthlinxglobal.com. When you use it, the messages you type and the assistant's replies are sent to and processed by that service so that it can generate answers and keep track of your conversation.
Please do not share confidential, financial, health or other sensitive personal information in the chat. Answers are generated by AI and may be incomplete or inaccurate; for anything important, contact us directly.
Technical information
Like most websites, our web server and form endpoints receive standard technical information when you visit or submit a form — for example your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time. We use it only to deliver the website, prevent spam and abuse, keep the service secure and troubleshoot problems.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, advertising or social-media pixels on this website.
The website stores a small amount of information in your own browser so that it works the way you expect. This information stays on your device; it is not used to track you across other sites.

You can clear these at any time from your browser settings. The website still works if you do.
How we use your information

Legal bases (EU/UK GDPR)

- your consent, where you choose to submit a form or use the chat assistant — you can withdraw consent at any time;
- steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, for demo requests and job applications;
- our legitimate interests in running our business, responding to inquiries and keeping the website secure, balanced against your rights; and
- legal obligations, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
Consent and legitimate uses (India — DPDP Act, 2023)
If the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies to you, we process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or use the chat assistant, or for legitimate uses permitted by the Act — for example, where you have voluntarily provided your data for a specified purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect processing already carried out.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed:
- Between Synthlinx LLC and Synthlinx Pvt. Ltd, so the right team can respond to you.
- Service providers who help us run the website and our business — such as website hosting, email delivery and the chat assistant provider — under contracts that require them to protect your information and use it only on our instructions.
- Authorities or other parties where required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- A successor business, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
International transfers
We operate in the United States and India, and our service providers may process information in other countries. When personal information moves across borders we take steps to protect it as required by applicable law — for example, using standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EU or UK.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it:
- Inquiries and demo requests — for as long as needed to respond and manage our relationship with you.
- Job applications — for as long as needed to assess your application and, with your consent, to consider you for future roles.
- Chat conversations — for as long as the chat service needs them to provide the assistant.
- Technical logs — for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
We may keep information longer where the law requires it.
How we protect information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and keeping the data we collect to a minimum. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- delete your information (erasure);
